What Tantra Means Here
Tantra is an old word that has been made to carry many meanings. Here is what it means on this site.
The tradition
Historical tantra is a family of spiritual traditions from India and Tibet: practices of consciousness and embodiment — breath, mantra, ritual, meditation, and a map of the body drawn in energy. Its quietly radical idea: the body is not an obstacle to the sacred. It is the doorway.
The modern practice
What most people meet today is modern, embodied tantra: presence, conscious touch, breath, and awareness, practiced between people rather than in temples. The West has also borrowed the word for many things far from either — which is exactly why it deserves a plain definition wherever it appears.
What it means here
Here, tantra means full presence in the body: touch, breath, and awareness joined until feeling itself becomes the meditation — and every part of you is welcomed rather than managed. It is learned by direct experience, not from words on a page.
The experience built on it: The Body Afterglow Experience.
